Frequently Asked Questions and Answers:

Q: My spouse isn't aware of this issue. Do I have to be open with her as to why I’m registering for this course?
A: As part of the 10 week course you will be given tools as to how to approach the subject and how to be more open with your spouse in a sensitive manner. At this stage it may be best to say you're joining a men's only Life Group.

Q: Can I be confident that my participation and sharing will be treated with confidentiality?
A: Confidentiality is supreme for the success of this course, as it’s a core value we guarantee you privacy of participants and anything you might be shared.

Q: How will class time be structured?
A: The class commences with a video outlining the session's topic (video quality similar to the trailer in the email). Participants will then break into smaller groups for discussions, support and planning for the week ahead.

Q: I've participated in similar courses before without success. How will this course be any different?
A: Only you can answer this question :) However, one of the strengths of this course is the emphasis on community. There's an optional follow up 'course' after this 10 weeks, where the support and accountability continues. This course also encourages men to find healing in their past, which often time is the root to their addiction.

Q: Do I have to be a Christian to participate in this course?
A: No, we have had non-Christians go through the course in the past. Participants are given tools to tackle the issue of pornography through looking at how the mind works, and what the Bible says about it.

"This series has helped to bring my life back on track. I had a safe, non judgemental community of me who have been supporting me at each step of this journey out of bondage. It has improved my relationship with God, myself and with others. I thank God for this opportunity" - past participants from Bridge Church
